This scheme was designed to simulate the various natural metal or silver dope schemes worn by early soviet fighters such as the Mig-21.
This scheme is often refered to as "natural metal" however to my knowledge no USAF Aggressor F-5Es used a natural metal finish; they were all painted with an aluminized polyurethane paint, presumably to help protect the aircraft from the elements.
The scheme includes a matte black anti glare panel forward of the nose and the standard gloss black radome. The rear fuselage remained unpainted as with all of the aggressor schemes and therefore was a different schade to the rest of the body.
